  • KASUBI TOMBS: The largest grass thatched museum in Africa. A burial place of Buganda Kings. Four of the 37 Kings of Buganda are buried here.
  • KABAKA's LAKE: near Ndeeba, the largest human-excavated lake in Africa.
  • Nagalabi, Budo, Coronation Site: The panoramic hill top is the historic heart of Buganda. It is from here that the Kingdom was created, at the dawn of the 14th Century. It is at this spot that every King of Buganda is crowned. According to the folklore, at this hilltop two brothers started a fight. The victor, Kintu, declared himself King.

TOUR OF ENTEBBE
“ Port Alice” was the original name of Entebbe during colonization. The gateway to Uganda, Entebbe was the first landing site for European Missionaries. Plaque in their commemoration still stands at KINGU. “Entebbe” means chair in most Bantu dialects. Entebbe was the capital of Uganda until Independence ( 1962).

Lake Victoria (known as NALUBALE in pre-colonial era) is the second largest fresh water body in the world. It offers unique tourist adventures, with its sparkling “blue” waters.

SSESE ISLANDS

SAMUKA ISLAND
This island is located near Jinja, 80 km. east of Kampala

NGAMBA CHIMP ISLAND
The island is a 100 acres of tropical forest on the equator line. A raised viewing platform runs along the edge of the sanctuary to allow visitors see the chimps during the feeding session, in the sanctuary environment.

The island was established in 1998 as a sanctuary for orphaned and confiscated chimpanzees from smugglers (mostly at Entebbe Airport). The center cares for the environment on the island and provides high quality educational experience for visitors

BWINDI IMPENETRABLE FOREST ITENERARY
This forest has one of the richest ecosystems in the whole of Africa. It contains over 120 mammal species including the mountain gorilla, over 340 birds species, 14 species of snakes, 27 species of frogs and toads, at least 20 species of other reptiles and at least 200 species of butterflies.

ATTRACTIONS
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a sanctuary for almost half the world's population of mountain gorillas (about 330 of 600), which is the rarest race of these primates.

KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK ITENERARY
TRANSPORTATION
If traveling by road, it is advisable to split the journey into 2 parts. Charter planes are also available

This park boast of the best scenery of all the East African parks. The park consists of sensational mountain and savannah landscapes. It is quiet and serene. It is located in the north eastern Ugandan corner bordering with Kenya and Sudan.

Animals to be seen here include: leopard, kudu, zebra, buffalo, cheetah, elephant, giraffe, oryx, bush baby, lions, kobs, etc

MGAHINGA NATIONAL PARK
ITENERARY
The park covers the northern slopes of the three northernmost Virunga Volcanoes; Mt. Muhavura (4,127 M.), Mt. Gahinga (3,474 M.), Mt. Sabinyo (3,645 M). Borders Rwanda (to the South), DRC (West). Each of countries protects its own portion of the Virungas (parks). The 3 parks together form the 434 sq. km. known as “ Virunga Conservation Area” (VCA).

Animals to be seen here include: crocodiles, chimpanzee, pangolin, civet, buffalo, hyena, elephant, giraffe, hippopotamus, leopard, warthog, lion, giraffe aardvark. baboon, etc

There are plenty of activities to do here including fishing (nile perch, tiger fish, tilapia), birding (over 400 bird species including the shoebill stork, Pel's fishing owl, pennant winged nightjar, red-throated bee eater) and forest trekking (there is a forest in the park which is home to a large number of chimps)

K.E.M.I. (Kibona Environment Management Initiative) Park Itinerary

An easy to climb range of mountains separating Isingiro – Rwampara counties of Ankole district off the Mbarara-Kabale road. This park has an area of approximately 900 Sq. KM.

RWENZORI MOUNTAINS NATIONAL PARK
It boasts of some of the highest peaks in the world (Africa's tallest), the Rwenzori Mountains popularly referred to as the "Mountains of the Moon." These are permanently snow capped peaks that offer great trekking experiences for mountain climbers.

The Rwenzori Mountains lie along the western border of Uganda and rise to a height of 5,1OO meters. They provide a spectacular backdrop to the national park.

Animals to be seen here include: golden cat, forest hog, rock hyrax, Sitatunga, elephant, genet, chimpanzee, Colobus monkey, Duiker, Vervet, etc.

LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK ITENERARY
Lying in the one part of Uganda covered in extensive acacia woodland, Mburo has markedly different fauna compared to the other parks/reserves. It covers an area of 261 Sq. Km. and lies in the western part of Uganda.

KIBALE NATIONAL PARK ITENERARY

The most accessible of Uganda's major rainforests, this park covers an area of 775 Sq. Km.
